AWEMAC provides advisory services to County governments on how to properly collect and handle solid waste. We develop frameworks for solid waste management and train the County staff on Solid Waste Management. It is realized that improved waste management is an essential element in efforts to make Kenya more resource efficient. One key means of achieving that is by shifting waste management up the waste hierarchy and sensitizing both individuals and county governments to the numerous opportunities that lie in Solid Waste Management.
