Professor Kibwage is professionally trained as an Environmental Planner with a bias towards Environmental Impact Assessment and Audits. He has over 21 years’ experience in ESIA and audit works for all development and infrastructural sectors. He is registered by Environmental Institute of Kenya and the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) as a Lead environmental and social consultant and has participated as one of the key consultants in over 1,250 Environmental Impact Assessment/Audit and other consultancy/ Training jobs in the energy, waste management, agricultural, water, industrial, housing, roads and railways, forestry, commercial, Natural Resources Management and recreational projects since early 1990s. He has widely consulted in ;lp[;the East African Region for both Private and Public Sectors. Apart from consulting, Kibwage is an associate professor in the Co-operative University College of Kenya and has in the past worked in South Eastern Kenya University and Maseno University as an associate professor in Environmental Studies.
